Taking the temp

It was 17° below zero when I got up on Friday morning, with a “feels like” temp of negative 33° but since I’m trying to be more optimistic in 2026, my first thought was “But it’s supposed to get up to six below this afternoon!”

Then I said to my wife, “Can you please remind me again… why do we live here?”
