I'm nuts for September

The middle of September might be my favorite time of year here in the land of cheese and beer. The sun’s rays arrive as orange and red and yellow to paint the earth in gold. The days are warm, the nights are cool, the air is dry and the conditions are ideal for harvesting summer’s bounty, which explains why the squirrels in our yard are going nuts.
